Actor Ashish Kapoor has undergone a medical potency test as part of the investigation into an alleged rape case, Delhi Police confirmed on Saturday. The test was conducted following the complainant’s allegations, which led to a case being registered against the actor earlier this month.
Officials stated that the medical examination is a routine procedure in such cases and forms part of the evidence-gathering process. Along with the test results, investigators are also examining digital records, phone conversations, and other material linked to the complaint.
The case has drawn significant public attention due to Kapoor’s presence in the entertainment industry. While the complainant has accused him of sexual assault, the actor has denied the allegations, calling them baseless.
Police said the investigation is ongoing, and further action will be taken once the medical and forensic reports are received. They also appealed to the public to avoid speculation until the case reaches a conclusion in court.
