Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Actor Aamir Khan has confirmed that he will marry his longtime partner Gauri Spratt on July 5, 2026. The couple, who have been together for more than two years, will reportedly opt for an intimate ceremony with close family and friends instead of a grand celebrity wedding.
Aamir confirmed the wedding plans, saying, “The news about the marriage is true. It’s on July 5.” According to reports, the couple will formalise their relationship through a registered marriage at home, keeping the celebrations private and meaningful. Gauri, originally from Bengaluru, has built a career in the fashion, beauty and wellness industry and currently resides in Mumbai. She is also a mother to a young son. Although the public became aware of their relationship only recently, Aamir and Gauri first met nearly 25 years ago before losing touch. Years later, they reconnected, and their friendship gradually blossomed into a serious relationship.
The actor introduced Gauri to the media during his 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025, marking their first public appearance as a couple. Since then, they have occasionally attended events together while maintaining a largely private personal life. Aamir has often spoken about the happiness and stability he has found with Gauri. In an earlier interview, he described himself as fortunate to have met her and shared that their relationship has brought him a sense of peace and fulfilment. This will be Aamir’s third marriage. He was previously married to Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002, and the former couple share two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and they are parents to Azad Rao Khan. The couple announced their separation in 2021. Despite his past separations, Aamir has maintained cordial relationships with both Reena and Kiran and continues to co-parent with mutual respect and understanding.
As Aamir prepares to begin a new chapter with Gauri, attention has shifted from his professional projects to his personal life. The upcoming wedding marks a significant milestone for the actor, who says he has found peace and happiness in his relationship with Gauri.
