Desk correspondent , Dubai - The ongoing war between the US and Iran has reported several casualties affecting not only the two nations but having a worldwide effect. According to Press TV, an outlet affiliated with the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iran has killed around 200 US soldiers, while almost 3000 of them have been left severely injured. This has been the total number of victims, since the war began on 28th February. One of the major ways in which the war is affecting the world is, through the constraints put on the strait of Hormuz, the most important global oil passage. Recently the US dropped a 5000 pound ‘buster bomb’ near this point.
There has been a significant decrease in the weaponry reserve of both nations involved in the war, and this condition is being considered as ‘very serious.’ Iranian officials claim that they have successfully destroyed 150 US missile launch pads, 23 patriot air defence systems, 43% of arm stock belonging to Washington was also destroyed and have killed almost 200 US soldiers in the first week of war itself.
After this estimation came from Iran, the US president Donald Trump also put out his evaluations, Trump claims that he has destroyed every sign of the Iran military, and that it would take decades for them to completely revive. "Militarily, we've essentially as far as I'm concernd , we've essentially defeated Iran. I guess they can have a little bit of a fight back, but not much. Not much. We've taken out their air forces, as you know. We've taken out their air defence. They have no air defence whatsoever," he said.
Although both the countries have suffered immense war casualties none of them are ready to resolve the matter peacefully and they continue to fight.
