Thailand’s defence ministry has assured that the country’s border security is not at risk despite the current political vacuum. Officials stated that all security operations along the borders are functioning normally, with no disruptions reported.
The ministry emphasized that troops and agencies responsible for safeguarding the borders are continuing their duties as usual. It added that measures are in place to prevent illegal crossings, smuggling, and other activities that could threaten stability.
The statement comes amid heightened political debate within the country, but the government stressed that security agencies remain professional and committed to their responsibilities. Analysts believe the reassurance aims to maintain public confidence and stability during the ongoing political transition.
