Ananya Lohia , Pune - A purported Snapchat conversation recovered by police has emerged as a key piece of evidence in the investigation into the murder of Pune realtor Ketan Agarwal.
According to police, the alleged chats were recovered from the old mobile phone of prime accused Siya Goyal. In the conversation with a friend, Goyal allegedly discussed booking wedding tickets and referred to a wedding "that would never happen." Police said the messages have been recorded as evidence and the friend will also be questioned as part of the investigation.
Investigators suspect Goyal and her alleged boyfriend Chetan Chaudhary pushed Ketan into a gorge at Lohagad Fort on June 18. Meanwhile, a viral video showing Goyal inside a police vehicle sparked controversy, with social media users alleging she made an obscene gesture. Her father, however, claimed she was only showing an injured finger after the vehicle door accidentally slammed on her hand.
Police continue to examine digital evidence and question those connected to the case as the investigation into Ketan Agarwal's death progresses.
