Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has said that he will bring out stronger proof in the future to back his claim of large-scale “vote theft” in recent elections. Addressing a gathering, Rahul stated that the issue is not just about one political party but about safeguarding India’s democracy. He accused the ruling government of manipulating the electoral process and warned that if such practices are not stopped, the very foundation of free and fair elections will be at risk.
Rahul Gandhi alleged that several irregularities had been reported from different states during the election, including tampering with the voting process and misuse of government machinery. While he did not share all details immediately, he assured that his party would release additional evidence at the right time. According to him, this information would be more “explosive” and undeniable.
The Congress leader also appealed to citizens, political workers, and democratic institutions to remain vigilant. He claimed that protecting the integrity of the vote is the responsibility of every Indian, not just opposition parties. “Our fight is not against individuals but against a system that is being misused,” he said, adding that the Congress will continue to raise this issue both inside and outside Parliament.
Rahul Gandhi’s remarks are expected to intensify the political debate, with ruling party leaders dismissing his allegations as baseless. However, his statement has once again placed electoral integrity at the centre of national discussion.
