Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent a message to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressing his goodwill and extending best wishes to the people of Ukraine.

The Prime Minister emphasized India’s consistent stand on peace and dialogue, stressing that conflict only brings hardship to ordinary citizens. He conveyed that India supports efforts aimed at restoring stability and ensuring the safety and well-being of people affected by the ongoing crisis.

Officials noted that India has maintained regular communication with both Ukraine and Russia, calling for de-escalation and diplomatic solutions. Modi’s message, they said, underlines India’s balanced approach of engaging with all sides while prioritizing humanitarian concerns.

The Prime Minister also reiterated India’s readiness to contribute to peace efforts and provide assistance where necessary. His outreach comes at a time when global attention remains focused on the prolonged conflict and its humanitarian impact.
