Desk Correspondent , Hyderabad - AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has added his voice to the growing international condemnation of the brutal lynching of Dipu Chandra Das in Bangladesh. Speaking on the tragic incident, where a 27-year-old Hindu man was killed by a mob in Mymensingh, Owaisi termed the act as a grave violation of human rights and religious freedom. He emphasized that such acts of communal violence are not only horrific but also fundamentally clash with the democratic values that the region strives to uphold.

Owaisi pointed out that every citizen, regardless of their faith, deserves protection under the law. He noted that the targeted killing of a minority community member is a direct contradiction to the legal framework of any modern nation. Expressing his sharp criticism, Asaduddin Owaisi stated that the lynching of Dipu Chandra Das is "contrary to what the country's constitution says," referring to the secular and protective principles enshrined in the Bangladeshi constitution. He urged the interim government in Dhaka to take immediate and strict action against the perpetrators to restore the rule of law.

The MP’s remarks come at a time of heightened tension, as the incident has sparked protests across several Indian cities and led to a diplomatic standoff between New Delhi and Dhaka. Owaisi’s stance highlights a rare moment of domestic political consensus in India, where leaders across the spectrum are demanding justice for the victims of the unrest in Bangladesh. A political commentator noted, "Owaisi's intervention underscores that the protection of minorities is a universal constitutional obligation that transcends borders and political ideologies."
