Desk Correspondent , Bhopal - Amit Malviya, a 25-year-old guy from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, was taken into custody for stealing a woman's inner garment from in front of her house. They live in the same neighborhood in Chimanganj Mandi. The woman became doubtful after she found that some of her clothes kept on missing from where she used to hang them, the suspicion led the family to check the CCTV recording installed near their residence. They found the boy had been picking the girl’s undergarments often at night when everyone was asleep, which then led to a concerning matter.
The girl shared the CCTV footage at the Chimanganj Police station. The police examined the footage and found that the accused had only picked up the girl’s innerwear and put it in his pocket while ignoring the other drying clothes. Amit was taken under custody and probing is ongoing, during this, the police also found that he has a liking for the girl and has also inked her name on his chest for proof.
The case has been registered under the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The authorities confirm that appropriate legal action will be taken against the accused.
