Ananya Lohia , New Delhi - BJP MP Kangana Ranaut on Monday criticised the Opposition's disruption of Parliament and rejected demands by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) for the removal of ministers, saying an elected government cannot be pressured into taking such decisions.

Speaking outside Parliament, Ranaut said the Monsoon Session should be used to hold meaningful discussions and ensure government accountability rather than create chaos. She asserted that decisions on appointing or removing ministers rest solely with the elected government and added that those seeking such powers should first win a public mandate through elections.

Her remarks came as thousands of students, activists and professionals gathered at Jantar Mantar before attempting to march towards Parliament, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged NEET exam irregularities. Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha was briefly adjourned after Opposition MPs raised slogans seeking discussions on the NEET controversy and the alleged Ram Mandir donation embezzlement case.

With protests intensifying both inside and outside Parliament, the NEET controversy continues to dominate the political agenda during the Monsoon Session.
