Indian-American federal judge Arun Subramanian sentenced music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs to 50 months (over four years) in prison for transporting individuals across state lines for sexual encounters.
Combs, 55, was convicted in July on two counts related to arranging paid male escorts to engage in drug-fueled sexual performances with his girlfriends, which he recorded. The jury acquitted him on more severe charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
During the sentencing on October 3, 2025, Judge Subramanian acknowledged Combs' successful music career but emphasized the need for a substantial sentence to hold him accountable for subjecting two former girlfriends to years of abuse. The judge stated, "You were no john... The coercion was the same, if not worse," highlighting the severity of the offenses.
