Shivani Jaiswal, New delhi- India and South Korea have agreed to further strengthen their strategic partnership with a renewed focus on defence cooperation, maritime security, and advanced technology exchange. The development came during high-level talks between officials from both countries, where shared regional challenges and opportunities for collaboration were discussed.
Both sides emphasised the importance of maintaining stability in the Indo-Pacific region, highlighting growing security concerns such as cyber threats, maritime risks, and evolving geopolitical tensions. The discussions also focused on increasing joint training exercises, defence industry partnerships, and cooperation in emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and surveillance systems.
