Washington – Former US President Donald Trump has clarified his earlier comment suggesting that the United States had “lost India and Russia” to China, saying he shares a strong rapport with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Republican leader, while addressing supporters, said he gets along “very well” with Modi and recalled the Indian Prime Minister’s recent visit to the US. The statement appeared to soften his earlier remarks, which sparked reactions after he linked India and Russia to China in global trade and geopolitical alignments.
