Delhi – The former vice-president Jagdeep Dhankar said that it’s difficult to get out of the “chakravyuh”. He further added that he hasn’t been referring to his example. Months after his sudden resignation from his post, his comments on the hassle of being trapped in “narratives” insinuates his resignation .
Jagdeep Dhankar attended a book launch of senior RSS functionaries Manmohan Vaidya. He delivered his first speech after resignation in this event. He said, “...Bhagwan kare ki koi narrative ke chakkar mein na fas jaye, iss chakravyuh mein koi fass gaya toh nikalna bada mushkil hain” (God willing, no one gets into the problem concerning narratives. If one gets into this trap, it is difficult to come out).
Dhankar resigned from his post vice-president and Rajya sabha chairman in July this year. He stated that he resigned because of his health complications. Despite his praise towards the prime Minister and the president, after his resignation, Jagdeep Dhankar’s silence aftermath hasn’t been overlooked by Congress.
“Suddenly and shockingly, in the late hours of the night on July 21st, the Vice President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned. That he was forced to do so even though he sang the praises of the PM day in and day out was obvious,” Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said in a post on X.
