The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reportedly identified issues in its online evaluation system used for checking answer sheets and managing examination-related processes.
The problems came to light during internal monitoring and feedback from evaluation centres. The concerns are related to technical glitches and operational delays in the system, which affected the smooth conduct of the evaluation process.
CBSE has initiated action against the service provider responsible for managing the digital evaluation platform. The board is also examining whether the issues had any impact on result processing or timelines.
Officials stated that maintaining accuracy and transparency in evaluation is a top priority, and any technical shortcomings are being taken seriously. Steps are being taken to ensure that such problems do not affect students or delay academic schedules in the future.
The board is also considering improvements to strengthen the system, including better technical support, monitoring tools, and stricter performance checks for vendors handling critical examination infrastructure.
CBSE has assured that student results and evaluation integrity remain unaffected and that corrective measures are already in progress. The situation is being closely reviewed at senior levels to prevent similar issues in upcoming examination cycles.
The review process is completed and a detailed report is submitted by the concerned authorities.
