Desk Correspondent , Kolkata - In the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal, BJP Government promised to empower 75 lakh women as 'Lakhpati Didi'. The BJP manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal is ' Sankalp Patra.'
BJP Government also promised to establish at least one women's police station in every sub-division and set up a Nari Sohayata Desk in every police station. They also ensure to look after the women's safety and dignity in this busy city areas, educational institutions, hostels and mostly public places by implementing strict laws and measures for crimes against the women. The manifesto also promises to aid pregnant women financially, 33% job reservation, free bus travel. It also focuses on the health services like HPV vaccination and cancer screening, and a stronger action on child marriage and crimes against women.
Overall, the manifesto of BJP for the West Bengal combines financial support, educational support and most importantly the safety of women. These measures could enhance women’s economic independence, improve participation in the workforce, and strengthen their role in governance across West Bengal.
