Union Home Minister Amit Shah has levelled sharp allegations against the opposition’s vice presidential candidate, Justice Sudershan Reddy, claiming that he has a history of supporting Naxal causes. Speaking at a public event, Shah said that electing such a candidate would send the wrong message to the nation.

Shah argued that leaders must stand firmly against extremism and violence, and accused the opposition of choosing a nominee whose past actions, according to him, reflected sympathy toward groups working against the country’s internal security.
