Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Following the box office success of Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has announced the next installment in his popular 1920 horror franchise, Titled 1920: Cold Winter, the film will be produced by Anand Pandit and directed by Bhatt.

The announcement was made on Friday, with Anand Pandit unveiling the film’s first-look poster on social media. Sharing the poster, Vikram Bhatt said that his successful collaboration with Anand Pandit continues after the strong response to Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past. 1920: Cold Winter will be written and directed by Bhatt, while Roopa Pandit and Rahul V Dubey will serve as co-producers.
The 1920 franchise began with 1920, starring Rajneesh Duggal and Adah Sharma. The series later expanded with 1920: The Evil Returns (2012), 1920: London (2016), 1921 (2018), and 1920: Horrors of the Heart (2023). Collectively, the franchise has grossed over ₹100 crore worldwide. Meanwhile, Bhatt’s latest release, Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past, has emerged as a surprise box-office success. Released on June 12, the film reportedly earned more than ₹18 crore within its first week despite receiving mixed-to-negative reviews.
