News Desk : The makers of Sardar 2 have officially announced the release date of the much-awaited sequel. Starring Karthi in the lead, the spy action thriller will hit theatres worldwide on September 10, setting up a major box office battle in the South film industry.

Sharing a new glimpse from the film, Karthi revealed that Sardar 2 will arrive in cinemas on September 10. The teaser features the actor in his role as Agent Sardar, standing with a gun as explosions erupt in the background. Directed by P. S. Mithran, the sequel brings back Karthi and Rajisha Vijayan, while S. J. Suryah, Malavika Mohanan and Ashika Ranganath join the cast. The film follows the success of the 2022 blockbuster Sardar, which emerged as one of Karthi's highest-grossing films.

The release also sets up a clash with Ranabaali, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, which arrives on September 11. Both films will follow the release of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, headlined by Yash.
