Desk Correspondent , Mumbai - The grand finale of MTV Splitsvilla 16 is turning into complete chaos, with a shocking voting twist adding fresh drama just days before the winners are crowned. After a brutal semi-final episode saw six contestants eliminated, the makers introduced a surprise public voting contest — and fans are now convinced it could directly impact the finale result.
The semi-final round witnessed intense competition between couples Sadaf-Deeptanshu, Yogesh-Ruru, Sussane-Vishu and Sorab-Niharika, while Gullu-Kaira and Soundarya-Tayne had already secured direct entry into the finale after winning earlier ticket-to-finale tasks. Himanshu-Diksha were eliminated even before the task after failing to collect enough splitcoins, while the remaining contestants battled it out for survival. In the end, Yogesh-Ruru and Sorab-Niharika emerged victorious in their respective tasks to officially seal their spots in the finale. However, the real twist came later when the makers suddenly opened public voting, allowing fans to vote up to 99 times for their favourite finalists. Elvish Yadav even urged his followers to support Gullu and Kaira, sparking speculation that fan votes may carry major weight in deciding the winner.
The upcoming finale episodes are expected to bring even more drama, as teaser clips show ex-contestants returning to the villa for one final showdown filled with accusations, emotional confrontations and explosive arguments. With Gullu-Kaira and Yogesh-Ruru reportedly dominating the voting trends online, the finale race now looks more unpredictable than ever.
