Commercial LPG cylinders have become more expensive in India following the latest price revision, while the cost of domestic cooking gas cylinders has remained unchanged.
The increase applies to commercial LPG cylinders commonly used by restaurants, hotels, and small businesses. The revised rates came into effect from the beginning of the month and are expected to raise operating costs for commercial establishments that depend heavily on LPG for daily operations.
However, there is relief for households as the prices of domestic LPG cylinders have not been changed. Consumers using LPG for cooking at home will continue to pay the same amount as before.
Oil marketing companies review LPG prices regularly based on factors such as international fuel prices, import costs, and market conditions. As a result, commercial and domestic cylinder prices may be adjusted separately depending on economic
commercial LPG rates could impact businesses, especially food outlets and restaurants, which may face higher fuel expenses. At the same time, keeping domestic prices unchanged is expected to protect household budgets from additional financial pressure.
The revised prices are now in effect across major cities, though the final rate may vary slightly depending on local taxes and transportation costs.
Consumers and business owners are advised to check the latest LPG rates in their respective cities through official sources for accurate pricing information.
