A frustrated customer, Advocate Ki Sa, 50, from Bharatpur, Rajasthan, has filed an FIR accusing the actors, alongside a car company, of cheating, criminal conspiracy, and breach of trust.

Mr. Singh claims he purchased a Hyundai Alcazar for nearly ₹24 lakh in 2022, which has since plagued him with persistent technical issues. He alleges the vehicle starts vibrating when accelerating or overtaking without increasing speed, displaying an engine management system malfunction. These recurring faults have, according to his complaint, endangered his and his family's lives on multiple occasions and caused financial hardship.

After repeated, unanswered complaints to the dealership, Mr. Singh filed the FIR, influenced by the stars' prominent presence in the brand's advertisements.
