A powerful car bomb exploded outside the headquarters of Pakistan's paramilitary Frontier Corps in Quetta on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, resulting in at least 10 fatalities and 30 injuries, according to local authorities. The blast occurred on Zarghoon Road, a busy area in the capital of Balochistan province.
Security footage captured a vehicle stopping near the compound, followed by a massive explosion and subsequent gunfire. Reports indicate that six attackers exited the vehicle and engaged in a shootout with security forces before detonating the bomb. All six assailants were killed in the exchange.
The explosion was so intense that residents reported hearing it from miles away, with nearby buildings sustaining damage. Ambulances quickly arrived at the scene, transporting the wounded to nearby hospitals
