Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Comedian Samay Raina has confirmed that actors Alia Bhatt and Sharvari will appear in the first episode of Season 2 of India's Got Latent, ending weeks of speculation surrounding their participation.
Samay announced the premiere by sharing the episode link on social media, featuring Alia and Sharvari on the thumbnail alongside comedians Ashish Solanki and Balraj Ghai. The comedian also teased fans with the caption, “Are we ready to start the show?” The announcement comes after photos of the two actors on the show's set went viral last month, sparking rumours that they would be among the first celebrity guests of the new season. The episode is also expected to serve as a promotional platform for their upcoming film Alpha.
Fans welcomed the show's return, with many calling it one of the biggest comebacks in Indian digital entertainment. Others jokingly referenced the controversies surrounding the first season, which faced backlash, FIRs and legal scrutiny following remarks made by guest Ranveer Allahbadia. The controversy had led to all episodes being removed from YouTube.
With Alia Bhatt and Sharvari leading the season premiere, India's Got Latent is set for a high-profile return. The new season will stream on both Netflix and YouTube, marking a fresh chapter for Samay Raina's popular yet controversial show.
