A tragic road accident in Ghaziabad claimed the life of a 25 year old police sub inspector in the early hours of Monday. The officer, who was returning home, lost her life when her Bullet motorcycle collided with a Wagon R at Kavi Nagar.
According to local sources, the accident took place around dawn when traffic was still thin on the road. The impact of the collision left the officer critically injured. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but could not survive her injuries.
Residents of the area said the crash created panic, with several people gathering at the spot soon after. Police officials later reached the site to clear the road and begin an investigation. Preliminary reports suggest that speeding may have been a factor, but a detailed probe is underway to determine the exact cause.
The sudden death of the young officer has left colleagues and family members in shock. She had recently joined the force and was known for her dedication to duty.
Authorities have urged commuters to exercise caution on city roads, especially during early morning and late night hours when visibility is low and traffic regulations are often ignored.
