Desk Correspondent , Islamabad – Pakistan is willing to host the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt in Islamabad on March 29 and 30, 2026, for crucial talk focused on de-escalating of the ongoing conflict in West Asia involving the United States, Iran and Israel. Also, the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation which lasted over an hour. The context of the phone conversation has been revealed to be a discussion over the ongoing regional hostilities and efforts to restore peace, according to the Pakistan PM Office.
In the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty are planning to hold important discussions on regional peace efforts and ways to reduce tensions. The visiting dignitaries are also scheduled to call on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during the two-day visit. The initiative comes after Pakistan publicly offered to facilitate direct peace talks between the US and Iran for a comprehensive settlement of the Middle East crisis.
