Former India opener Virender Sehwag has shared a candid account of a fiery confrontation with teammate Rahul Dravid during their playing days, revealing how tensions once boiled over in the dressing room.

Speaking on a podcast, Sehwag recounted an incident when a disagreement during a match led him to issue a blunt warning to Dravid, who was then one of India’s senior-most cricketers. “I told him clearly — ‘Tell your coach not to come near me,’” Sehwag recalled, adding that emotions often ran high in the high-pressure environment of international cricket.

The exchange reportedly stemmed from differences over batting approach and on-field strategy. Sehwag, known for his fearless style, admitted that his aggressive nature sometimes led to clashes with teammates. “It wasn’t personal.
