Mumbai - A truly shocking event took place at a Kali Mata Temple in Chembur, Mumbai, after devotees were stunned to see the main Goddess Kali idol dressed in clothes that looked exactly like the robes of Mother Mary. The unusual change immediately caused confusion and a wave of strong anger among the local temple visitors last Sunday. For many, mixing the symbols of different religions in such a visible way was seen as deeply inappropriate and offensive.

When questioned by upset devotees, the temple priest, named Ramesh, tried to explain his actions by saying the Goddess herself had come to him in a dream. He claimed that the Goddess told him to dress her in the form of Mother Mary. However, this unusual excuse did not calm the situation. Many people, including members of local religious groups, strongly objected, fearing that the act could cause serious trouble and disturb peace among different communities.

Following the complaints from angry devotees, the police had to step in. The priest was quickly handed over to the police and officially held for questioning. He now faces a legal case for actions that intentionally hurt religious feelings. Police are currently investigating the matter to check if the priest acted alone or if he was influenced or paid by other people to carry out this strange and controversial act. The police want to make sure the full reason behind the shocking display is understood.
