Udaipur health officials probe case amid concerns over high fertility in tribal regions

The health department in Udaipur has initiated an investigation into a recent case that has drawn attention to the challenges of high fertility rates in tribal-dominated areas. Officials stated that such cases highlight the pressing need for stronger family planning measures and better access to healthcare in remote regions.

Health experts noted that many tribal communities face limited awareness about reproductive health, coupled with poor medical facilities, which worsens the problem. Authorities said steps are being taken to expand outreach programs, strengthen awareness drives, and improve access to contraception and maternal care services.

The probe is expected to shed light on gaps in the existing healthcare system while underlining the importance of targeted intervention in rural and tribal populations.
