According to reports, Trump framed the choice as a stark one: accept a deal or face further U.S. action, while emphasizing that Washington’s position is still tied to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. The latest round of indirect talks involved U.S. and Iranian officials speaking through Qatari and Pakistani mediators, and those conversations were described as technical and lower level rather than direct negotiations.
