Desk Correspondent , Chennai - Trisha Krishnan made headlines after attending the swearing-in ceremony of actor-turned-politician Vijay, who officially took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Sunday at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. Soon after the ceremony, the actor’s first social media post grabbed massive attention online.
Trisha attended the event with her mother, Uma Krishnan, and impressed fans with her elegant traditional look. She wore a seafoam-green and gold saree paired with a cream embroidered blouse, styled her hair in a jasmine-adorned bun, and completed the look with statement jewellery and subtle makeup. Sharing pictures from the ceremony on Instagram, Trisha captioned the post, “The love is always louder,” a line that instantly sparked reactions amid ongoing rumours surrounding her bond with Vijay. Several videos from the event also went viral online, especially one clip showing Trisha getting emotional during Vijay’s speech after taking oath.

After the event, Trisha was surrounded by fans and media while leaving the venue but remained calm as security escorted her through the crowd. She was also seen warmly greeting Vijay’s mother, Shoba, with a hug before exiting. Adding more fuel to speculation, Trisha later shared an Instagram story featuring the phrase “IYKYK” alongside a cartoon illustration filled with “blah blah blah” speech bubbles. Many fans interpreted it as her indirect response to the constant rumours and discussions surrounding her equation with Vijay.
As Vijay begins a new chapter in politics, his final film Jana Nayagan is set to release later this month. Meanwhile, Trisha Krishnan continues to stay busy with work commitments and is currently preparing for the release of Karuppu alongside Suriya on May 14, 2026.
