Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has unveiled the trailer of his upcoming movie The Bengal Files, which he says is based on incidents of violence and displacement that have not been widely discussed.
The trailer gives a glimpse of the film’s attempt to depict stories of suffering and unrest from Bengal’s past. Agnihotri, who earlier directed The Kashmir Files, has described this new project as an effort to bring forward what he calls a buried chapter of history.
