Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Actor Sonakshi Sinha has extended her support to students protesting alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).

Sharing a post on Instagram, Sonakshi expressed concern over the students' struggle, writing that it was disheartening to see young aspirants face such challenges. The students have been staging an indefinite protest in Ranchi since July 29, demanding the cancellation of the 14th JPSC Combined Preliminary Test and an independent probe by the CBI and Enforcement Directorate into the alleged recruitment scam.

The protesters have rejected the ongoing CID investigation, claiming they have lost faith in the process. They are also demanding strict action against those responsible, the introduction of a "not attempted" option on OMR sheets, and greater transparency in recruitment exams. Student groups have warned of intensifying their agitation if their demands remain unaddressed.

With public support growing, including from Sonakshi Sinha and student organisations, pressure is mounting on the Jharkhand government to ensure a fair and transparent investigation into the alleged recruitment irregularities.
