Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra's high-end restaurant, Bastian, located in Mumbai's Dadar area, has become a significant player in the city's nightlife and dining scene. According to author Shobhaa De, the establishment can generate a turnover of ₹2–3 crore on any given night, with weekends reaching the higher end of that spectrum.

 Shobhaa De shared her observations during a podcast with Barkha Dutt, noting that Bastian's capacity allows it to host up to 1,400 guests per evening, split into two seating sessions of 700 each. She was particularly struck by the clientele, describing scenes where young patrons were spending lavishly, ordering multiple bottles of premium tequila, and each table's expenditure running into lakhs. The restaurant's ambiance, featuring a 360° view of the city from its 21,000 sq. ft. space, further enhances its appeal.
