Ananya Lohia , Chennai - The passing of veteran Tamil filmmaker and actor K. Bhagyaraj at the age of 73 has left the Tamil film industry in mourning, with his children sharing heartfelt tributes in his memory.
Actor-son Shanthnu Bhagyaraj posted an old video from a celebration of Bhagyaraj’s 50-year film career, where he had expressed his wish to give his father 10 years of his own life so he could continue making films.
Shanthnu also thanked Vijay for personally visiting and consoling the family, expressing gratitude for the state honours accorded to his father. Meanwhile, daughter Sharanya Bhagyaraj shared an emotional message, saying she never realised that most of her missed calls were always from her father.
Known for his unique storytelling style and memorable contributions as a writer, director and actor, K. Bhagyaraj leaves behind a lasting legacy in Tamil cinema.
