Desk Correspondent , Bihar - As Bihar elected its new Chief Minister on April 14, 2026, Samrat Choudhary ordered a strict policy of "zero tolerance" against corruption across all levels of administration. He directed officials to eliminate the culture of delaying tasks and "file-pushing," insisting that government schemes and public issues be resolved at "double speed".
Samrat Choudhary implemented five directive principles for the development of Bihar. He held the meeting at the Main Secretariat, where the chief minister's principle secretary Deepak Kumar, chief secretary Pratyaya Amrit, development commissioner Mihir Kumar Singh, director general of police Vinay Kumar, along with many other senior officials were present. The Chief Minister emphasised swift resolution of public grievances, especially land- related disputes, which he said account for nearly 60-70% of conflicts. He directed all the departments to simplify procedures and ensure timely services at the block, circle, and police station levels. Referring to the work done by Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar for the development of Bihar, Choudhary made sure to go ahead with that urgency. He also highlighted ongoing schemes, including those under “Saat Nishchay,” and called for a comprehensive review of all departmental progress. The minister also mentioned that there ultimate goal is to complete the public's problem.
The Chief's Minister strong message shows a push for faster and honest governance in Bihar. Samrat Choudhary made it clear that the corruption and delays will not be accepted at any cost. The all focus will be on quick solutions to people's problems and better implementation of government schemes. The government aim is to deliver real results on the ground. The larger goal is to build a better and more developed Bihar.
