₹60 Crore in Sight! Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Holds Steady at Box Office

Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is continuing its impressive run at the box office despite growing competition and limited screen space. Starring Ayushmann Khurana, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi, the romantic comedy is now inching closer to the ₹60 crore mark globally after completing 15 days in theatres.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz and backed by T-Series and BR Studios, the film earned ₹1.25 crore net on its third Friday across 2,458 shows nationwide, according to Sacnilk. The domestic net collection now stands at ₹43.20 crore, while the domestic gross has reached ₹51.26 crore. The overseas market has contributed around ₹7.65 crore so far, taking the film’s worldwide gross total to ₹58.91 crore. Made on a reported budget of ₹60 crore, the movie is now just a step away from crossing the milestone globally.

In the film, Ayushmann plays Prajapati Pandey, a man caught in a series of misunderstandings and family chaos. During the trailer launch, the actor clarified that the film does not promote infidelity and described it as a “comedy of errors.” He also called his character a “green flag” with a strong moral compass. The film serves as a spiritual follow-up to the 2019 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh, starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday, though the new film features a fresh story and cast.

While the film has managed to maintain steady collections through positive word of mouth and strong family audience support, the road ahead may get tougher with new releases like Chand Mera Dil and Hollywood biggie The Mandalorian and Grogu entering theatres. Even so, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do continues to hold its ground strongly at the box office.
