Ananya Lohia , New Delhi - Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Home Minister Amit Shah over the police action against protesters during the Cockroach Janata Party's (CJP) march to Parliament.

Speaking outside Parliament, Gandhi alleged that the government had failed to address concerns over alleged examination irregularities and instead responded with police action against students. Calling the crackdown "un-Indian", he claimed the country's education and examination system had been weakened and said young people were being denied opportunities. He also accused the government of preventing the Opposition from discussing the issue in Parliament.

Later, Rahul Gandhi, accompanied by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and K C Venugopal, visited Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital to meet injured protesters. Meanwhile, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke continued the sit-in at Jantar Mantar, while activist Sonam Wangchuk remained under medical care at Safdarjung Hospital, where doctors said his condition was stable despite his continued hunger strike.

With the Opposition stepping up its attack and the CJP refusing to end its agitation, the row over alleged examination irregularities continues to intensify both inside and outside Parliament.
