Shivani Jaiswal , Uttar Pradesh - Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple today, where he performed rituals and offered prayers amid tight security and a gathering of devotees. 

During the visit, the Prime Minister spent time inside the temple complex, interacting briefly with priests and observing traditional ceremonies. The atmosphere in Varanasi remained vibrant, with chants and temple bells marking the occasion.

Speaking informally after the  darshan Modi emphasized the timeless significance of Kashi as a center of faith and culture. He noted that the city continues to inspire millions and stands as a symbol of India’s spiritual heritage blended with modern development.

Local authorities ensured smooth arrangements for pilgrims and visitors, as the temple saw heightened activity throughout the day. The visit also drew attention to ongoing efforts to improve facilities around the temple area, making it more accessible for devotees.

The Prime Minister’s visit once again placed Varanasi at the center of national attention, reinforcing its importance not just as a religious destination, but as a living embodiment of India’s cultural identity.
