News Desk , Mumbai - Actor Pankaj Tripathi has rushed to Patna after his elder brother, Vijayendranath Tripathi, was seriously injured in an alleged attack in Bihar's Gopalganj district. The incident reportedly stemmed from a land dispute in the family's ancestral village.

According to sources, Pankaj reached Patna to be with his brother following the attack. Vijayendranath sustained multiple injuries after being allegedly assaulted with a sharp object on Sunday in Belsand Tiwari Tola village. Despite the seriousness of the attack, sources said his condition is currently stable and not life-threatening.

After the incident, Vijayendranath was taken to Gopalganj Model Hospital for initial treatment before being shifted to a medical facility in Patna for further care. Family members and relatives have been closely monitoring his recovery. Confirming the development, Gopalganj Superintendent of Police Vinay Tiwari said the accused has been identified and arrested. The suspect is being sent to judicial custody, though the family has not yet submitted a written complaint to the police.

The attack has shocked the Tripathi family and their supporters. While investigations are underway, Pankaj Tripathi remains focused on his brother's recovery as authorities continue legal proceedings against the accused.
