Ananya Lohia , Delhi - Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has intensified his confrontation with the BJP by sharing a satirical fake social media post featuring US President Donald Trump, days after the party served him a legal notice over his bribery allegations.

Abdullah shared the fabricated post on X, jokingly showing Trump praising his campaign for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir's statehood. Captioning it "If only!", Abdullah clarified that the post was fake. The move came after the BJP issued him a legal notice demanding proof of his claim that party leaders had offered Rs 20–30 crore and ministerial posts to National Conference MLAs to topple his government.

Responding to the notice, Abdullah described it as a "love letter" from the BJP and said it was proof that he remained a significant political force in Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP has demanded a public apology or evidence to support the allegations, warning of a Rs 100-crore defamation suit if he fails to comply.

The political confrontation between the National Conference and the BJP has further escalated, with both sides standing firm as the legal and political battle continues.
