The visit is expected to cover a wide range of issues, including trade, cultural ties, security cooperation, and Buddhist heritage links.

During the visit, the Myanmar President will hold high-level discussions with Indian leadership on expanding economic cooperation and improving connectivity between the two nations. Officials say both sides are likely to explore new opportunities in trade, infrastructure development, and regional investment.

“Buddhist diplomacy,” as both India and Myanmar share deep historical and cultural connections through Buddhism. The leaders are expected to discuss ways to promote Buddhist pilgrimage circuits, increase tourism, and strengthen cultural exchange programs.

Security cooperation is also likely to be an important part of the agenda. India and Myanmar share a long border, and both countries have previously worked together on border management and counter-insurgency coordination. Officials expect discussions on improving coordination to ensure peace and stability in the region.
