Swapna Kumbar , Bengaluru - A protest over paper leaks turned tense outside the Prime Minister’s residence, where a minister was seen speaking to Rahul Gandhi as opposition leaders pressed their demands. The demonstration came a day after the Cockroach Janta Party’s march to Parliament, which ended in clashes with police.

The earlier march saw heavy security deployment, baton charges and tear gas as protesters tried to push past barricades in central Delhi. Several demonstrators were injured, while police detained a number of marchers after the crowd attempted to move toward Parliament despite restrictions. The CJP and its supporters have been demanding tougher action on paper leaks and wider reforms to the examination system. The latest protest outside the PM’s house shows the issue is still politically charged, with the opposition seeking direct attention from the government.

With protests continuing and leaders now meeting face to face, the paper leak issue is unlikely to fade soon. The pressure on the government is growing as students, activists and opposition parties keep pushing for accountability.
