Ananya Lohia , Pune - Fresh details have emerged in the alleged murder case of Pune realtor Ketan Agarwal, with a member of the rescue team claiming that the 25-year-old was found with a crushed skull and multiple bruises after falling from Lohagad Fort on June 18.
Sunil Gaikwad, who was part of the rescue operation, said Ketan had suffered severe head injuries and bruises on his limbs. He also claimed that while several people at the scene were visibly distressed, Ketan's fiancee Siya Goyal appeared calm during the body retrieval process. Police suspect that Siya Goyal and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary conspired to kill Ketan by pushing him off a cliff.
Investigators have found that both accused allegedly deleted their phone chats and cleared recycle bins before and after the incident. The devices have been sent for forensic examination to recover the deleted data. Investigators believe the duo met at a cafe on the day of the incident and allegedly planned the crime in advance. Meanwhile, Siya's brother Sahil, who introduced the two, has told police that he was aware of their relationship and had advised his sister to end it as she was engaged to Ketan.
The investigation is ongoing, with police relying on forensic evidence, digital records and witness statements to establish the sequence of events surrounding Ketan's death.
