Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has made his first-ever land investment, purchasing a 2,000 sq. ft. plot in Alibaug for Rs 2 crore. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 star bought the property in the Chateau de Alibaug development from The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) and plans to build his own home there. The deal was formally registered by his mother, Mala Tiwari, as his Power of Attorney.

Aaryan joins a growing list of celebrities establishing a presence in the coastal town, with future neighbours including Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Sanon. Other high-profile figures with properties in Alibaug are Shah Rukh Khan, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, and Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

Alibaug's popularity among Mumbaikars is driven by its natural beauty, privacy, and enhanced connectivity through infrastructure like the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL). This has boosted demand for second homes and premium plots. However, not all celebrity land deals have been smooth; Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan, has reportedly faced legal trouble over her purchase of agricultural land in Alibaug, which is now under investigation.
