Ananya Lohia , New Delhi - Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has reacted to the apology of a girl booked for allegedly using abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Kangana urged parents to protect children from what she described as harmful ideological influence.

Sharing a screenshot of the girl's apology video on Instagram Stories, Kangana claimed the girl had been influenced by others at the protest and appealed to families to safeguard their children. She also made remarks about the protest and called for introspection within society. In the apology video, the girl says she is 15 years old and expresses regret for her comments, stating that she was influenced by people present at the demonstration.

The FIR, however, identifies the accused as 25 years old, and the authenticity of the apology video has not been independently verified. The apology came shortly after Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed for restraint and forgiveness, describing those involved as "misguided children" and urging them to focus on learning from mistakes and contributing to nation-building.

The episode has sparked political and public debate, with Kangana Ranaut backing PM Modi's message of guidance while adding her own views on the influence of protest groups on young people.
