Speaking about her role as Mandodari, the wife of Ravana, Kajal said working on the film has been a unique journey for the cast. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Rama, alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, Arun Govil as King Dashrath and Yash as Ravana.
