Ananya Lohia , Mumbai - Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu recently opened up about the emotional support he received from superstar Prabhas during a difficult phase of depression. The actor praised Prabhas for his humility, kindness and caring nature, recalling how the Baahubali star stood by him when he needed encouragement the most.
In an interview with Moneycontrol, Jagapathi Babu shared that Prabhas was shooting in Georgia when he reached out to him during his low phase. Despite being busy, Prabhas immediately reassured him by saying, “Darling, I am there. Tell me your problem, I will solve it.” Jagapathi said those words gave him confidence and courage to deal with the situation. The veteran actor also revealed that Prabhas later visited him personally while returning from the shoot just to motivate him and lift his spirits. Calling him a man with a “very big heart,” Jagapathi praised the actor for always caring for everyone around him despite being younger in age.
Apart from Prabhas, Jagapathi Babu also spoke highly of filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli. He said Rajamouli remains grounded and humble even after achieving massive global success. According to Jagapathi, the director chooses actors purely based on their suitability for a role and not because of personal closeness. On the professional front, Prabhas has several major projects lined up, including Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2 and Spirit directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Jagapathi Babu’s heartfelt words have once again highlighted the humble and compassionate side of Prabhas, a quality that continues to earn him admiration both within and beyond the film industry.
