Ananya Lohia , Delhi - India suffered one of the worst defeats in their T20I history after being bowled out for just 76, handing England a dominant 125-run victory in the third T20I at Trent Bridge. The crushing defeat also gave England an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.

Chasing 201, India's batting line-up collapsed against the pace of Jofra Archer and Josh Tongue, who shared seven wickets between them. The visitors were dismissed for their second-lowest total in T20 internationals, narrowly avoiding their lowest-ever score of 74. Earlier, Phil Salt scored a brilliant 70 while Sam Curran remained unbeaten on 41 to help England post 201.

Despite Prince Yadav's impressive figures of 2 for 30, India lost four wickets inside the powerplay and never recovered. Captain Shreyas Iyer admitted the performance was "atrocious" and said the team failed to adapt to the conditions. He urged every player to take responsibility and create a bigger impact in the remaining matches.

The defeat hands England an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series, while India will now look to salvage pride in the final two T20Is.
