Desk Correspondent , Delhi - The Indian government has officially condemned the recent killing of a Hindu youth in Bangladesh, calling it a matter of grave concern. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that the constant hostility toward minority communities in the neighboring country is deeply troubling. This reaction comes after reports emerged of a Hindu man, identified as Amrit Mondal, being lynched by a mob. India has urged the interim government in Bangladesh to take immediate action to protect its citizens and ensure that such violent acts do not happen again.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, addressed the media to highlight the seriousness of the situation. He mentioned that there have been many reports of violence against Hindus, Christians, and Buddhists recently.
Rejecting claims that these incidents are being exaggerated, Jaiswal said, "The unremitting hostility against minorities in Bangladesh is a matter of great concern." He emphasized that India expects the local authorities to hold those responsible accountable for their crimes. He further added, "We condemn the recent killing and expect that the perpetrators will be brought to justice."

While the interim government in Bangladesh claimed the incident was related to criminal activities rather than religion, India has dismissed this narrative. Indian officials believe that the safety of minorities must be the top priority for any stable government. Many people in India are now calling for stronger diplomatic steps to ensure the peace and security of the Hindu community across the border. As the tension grows, the international community is also watching how the two countries handle this sensitive issue. For now, India remains firm in its demand for a fair investigation and better protection for all minority groups.
